Crompton's Professional Kevin Stoute (Barbados) and the overseas  amateur Javon Searles have arrived at Crompton, but the first match of the season has been postponed due to consistent rain over the winter and will now be played on the 17th May.

Crompton start off the Season of 2008 with a home  fixture now against Norden on Sunday the 27th April,

In the 1st Round Wood Cup, Crompton have a home fixture against Milnrow Sunday 1st June
